"We had a very unpleasant thing happen. When we arrived, we were told that the trio suite we had reserved was not available and that our party would be split up into two smaller rooms. I expressed my disappointment and was offered a free breakfast for the inconvenience. I told my husband who demanded to speak to the manager. Initially, he was met with resistance, but after threatening to call his lawyer, and the newspaper, the manager told the lady at the desk to give us the room his friends were in and let them stay with him instead. After that, we had no problems, but our impression was that the manager had given away a room to his friends who were in town, and had told the girls at the desk to tell the last guests who checked in for a trio suite that there was none available. The manager had a Hispanic name. I wrote it down somewhere, but can't find it right now."
